A few years ago, our Homepage was flooded with news and happenings, giving it a cluttered look. So, we changed its look and removed many of the links and information that peppered the page.
On 1 Sep 2007, we changed the look of our Homepage again – this time, bringing back some of the links and information which were present in our Homepage before the last change.
Are we moving backwards then, as we move forward into 2008?
Not quite. As a Singapore search engine and directory, we realise it is necessary for us to put the latest news and happenings within easy reach of our audience — Singaporeans and Singapore residents, and of course, not forgetting tourists.
But, we try not to overload the Homepage with information. So, the result is a simplier uncluttered Homepage which we hope will invite you to explore Getforme Singapore.
We are bringing in video and podcasting sections to complement the things that we have on our Website. But, we will not hurry in these areas as we want to be careful not to inadvertently thread on the copyright rights of others.
By 28 November 2007, we will have been online for a full eight years — a long, long time in the Internet world. And we hope to stay online for many, many more years, serving you.
We may be poor, with no corporate support, but we try our best to preserve the present Singapore for the benefit of the future generation.
